Gothic Lolita

Gothic is really easy to co-od so it's good for a beginner, I have a gothloli co-od even though it's not my fave style by far mostly because black like always is a good all rounder, and i made my one for the welly x-mas from hell (it was half way between helloween and x-mas) cosplay party last year and i was too much of a scaryed cat to do a Guro lolita outfit.

Gothic lolita, sometimes shortened to GothLoli or gosurori , (gosurori is also the name of Gosu Rori is a gothic lolita magazine published by Boutique-Sha )   is a combination of the Gothic and Lolita fashion.
Gothic Lolita fashion is characterized by a darker make-up and clothing. Red lipstick and smokey or neatly defined eyes, created using black eyeliner, are typical styles, although as with all Lolita substyles the look remains fairly natural.  Though Gothic make-up is associated with a white powdered face, this is usually considered bad taste within the Lolita fashion. (cause it's too costumey and western)
Gothic Lolita usually uses dark color schemes including black, dark blues and purples, although black and white remains popular. As with some Western Gothic styles, cross jewelry, religious symbols, bags and purses in shapes like bats, coffins, and crucifixes are also used to accessorize the Gothic Lolita look. (although i haven't really seen them around alot lately probly due to the fact it's not trending at the moment)
Elegant Gothic Lolita (EGL) and Elegant Gothic Aristocrat (EGA) are substyles of gothic lolita (and of aristocrat fashion) coined by the visual keirock musician Mana, in connection with his own fashion label Moi-même-Moitié.
Japanese brands which exemplify the gothic lolita style include
Atelier-Pierrot,
Atelier Boz,
Black Peace Now,
the one on the left is the gothloli, the one on the right isn't
alot of goth outfits have emboraty to make up for not having prints or other features

shes so cute (>//<) it's a beautful baby doll dress, i love how it falls and drapes from the empire/bust line yet the poufy sleeves balence out the wide hem and give her a lovely siloheate, plus the rich navy is a refreahing change from just black and white co-ods.

I REALLY REALLY WANT her parasol, the ones i make arn't as fancy (Ç.Ç)

These are some of the pictures of me from the xmas from hell party,
I was awarded the Lacest Loli award ^///^
I made the skirt, cape and parasol the day of the party X.x
and yes that is a wig, i like wigs because you can instantly change your look and feel by wearing one and it enables me to feel safe clangenging myself in trying new experenses. wearing wigs is pretty typical of the post-mod fliud identity ideology's, and low key conpaired to some of the post-modernism self as image fashions out there.
to me when i wear a wig it's like i'm striping away all the exuses i make up to not do something and enabling myself to push myself out of my comfit zone 。◕ ‿ ◕。
