illustrations development

for my illustration i think i may follow what did last time e.g being very defined, lace textured backgrounds brushes etc. but with more of a chalky messly feel.

the best lolita illustrations are by a lady called Imai Kira she does the illustrations for AP and is very famous for her work and if lolita dont know she they do know the illustrations.

because im not very good at drawing but im good at tracing i thought i would pick from some of Imai Kira's illustration and modify and trace to get a base for my illustration.

i use ALOT of masks when i use photoshop it's just easyer and safer in my option, here im trying to line the stripes up with the direction on the garment

with color, fabric and shading, this was before i went for the messy chalk look.
