Market Report Overview

I was scaryed to go on the market trip mostly because with my own personal style i gernally ether get ingored or get evil looks when i go into places like glassons and im too terrified of the high end ones,

so i made sure to wear a really good vinage country lolita co-od because then i could not make any execuses for my self to not go into the higher end ones.

my final co-od that i picked
antique blouse from my antique doll final collection from back home at hagley fashion
cotton on mint scaf
vintage Austrian wool jacket from spacesuit
mint sweater vest from recycle boutique
country lolita vevleteen bustleback skirt i made last year, new petticoat i haven finished,
white handmade bloomers
vintage white beret
                                          wig and makeup

i started at the warehouse with helena, and i looked mostly at the children part because i couldn't find any like it in the adults part.

kids clothing seems to be heavyly patterned and texturely
interactively
very visual
active and playful, eg, lace ruffles,
lace
pink
lavender
baby blue
emborary
fleese
simple with colorfull prints or detailed with simple prints or fabric.
LOTS of mofits - very cute anything
bears- clouds- dots-stripes -dears-
kittys-flowers- candy- lollys- strawberrys

this tier skirt is one i forced on, and i was disappointed in the quality of the skirt, all the edges were rolled overlocked, the gathering ratio was bear min to get the look and effect of a tiered without the fabric use, the seams were raw stitched, the waist band was just overlocked on with a very small 2 thread, and the graduation between the tier colors was not very good as well as the fabric being a low quality cotton
this skirt was a good example of the differnent between high and low end, this skirt gives you the effect of a lovely tier skirt with the quality, i think if this was to be actively used by kids it would not as long at all,
as there is nothing to suggest that the manafaer has taken in to acount securing all seam from the wear and tear of an active child

Banks shoes is where i found a good range of girly stuff ^.^ due to the fact that they have a ballet section
they are really nice as well
the banks range was  more lower middle?
i looked at the black petti ^
which was much nicer than the the tiered skirt from the warehouse,
the edges that were left raw were ones that didn't need finishing
there was muiltape layers of satin-tulle-satin-tulle-satin to give it it's shape, the gather ratios were decent
aswell as having a nice amount of lace.
if scaled up for an adult this would make a really nice petticoat or skirt.
there was cover stitching and solid ovelocking on all the seams, more so on the ones that would be under more stress from movement
