motifs - cat/bunny ears

Lolita have a very fine line when it comes to the costumly elements of their dress for example- animal ears,

bunny ears when they turn up are sometimes ok depending on the outfit and how they are included,

but lolita seems to have a negative reaction to cat ears due to the fact that cat ears are more costumely than bunny ones that kind off conflusses me, why would bunny ears be less costumely i would have thought it was the other way around.

cause you can wear car eared thing if your whole outfit rovles around a kitty motif but it frowned abon to wear them if your not

"Don't wear cat ears for the sake of cat ears. You might have a cat themed loli outfit for halloween  The same goes for wings and any other non-clothing item you might add to a costume."


so says the lolita handbook, i dislike this fact which i have found out from experience of wearing lolita with cat ears, somthing that i have been critisited for.




i love cat ears and i love the fact that add a bit of childish costumely play to your outfit.
so i think i want to add some animal ears to my collection, i think because of the childish play but also because its frowned apon.
